[Why hello everyone. You are being greeted with a totally not blushing Sealand.]

I have a question to ask. If you wanted to take a girl, who is just a friend, on a not really a date, where would you take her and what would you do on this not date?

I'm just wondering, that's all!

Whether it's friendly or romantic, dates should always be a matter of doing something you both enjoy. The difference between them is in the formalities. Friends dress casually and each pay their own way. And if you go eat, it's probably somewhere inexpensive and low-key, like a café or fast food. Nothing too fancy is the best rule of thumb for friendly outings.

[Makes a mental note of all of this.]

Nothing too fancy and something we both like. Got it! Thank you miss!

Ah? Another country? How wonderful! I'm pleased to meet you, Sealand! Hey, what is your food like?

[Because clearly this is The Most Important Thing.]

What's our food like? Well we have pizza and candy and British food but ours is ten times better!

Pizza and candy? Sounds delicious! And you seem confident about the quality. How do you do things differently from Britain-- or is that being too nosy? I'm sorry if it is. I do understand culinary secrets!

It's not nosy at all, but it's no secret. We just never burn our food and we make sure our food is nice and tasty.[He's exaggerating.]

Oh. But there's no variation in the recipes themselves?
[identity profile] sealanddesuyo.livejournal.com on December 18th, 2011 06:54 pm (UTC)
Nope! Just that we make it better!

Well, sometime I'll have to try it! And British food too, for a real comparison.
