Her name is Mary Weather. I think she told me she talked to you before.

So he said. To me they were actual dates, but you know how Arthur can be at times. Well, we went to the Autumn Festival together before for the festival itself and then the fireworks.

[Of course... They also kind of failed... Foot in mouth syndrome. At least they're getting better at that. It's easier considering they're engaged now.

Whether it's friendly or romantic, dates should always be a matter of doing something you both enjoy. The difference between them is in the formalities. Friends dress casually and each pay their own way. And if you go eat, it's probably somewhere inexpensive and low-key, like a café or fast food. Nothing too fancy is the best rule of thumb for friendly outings.
